The Royal Psalms

Psalm 2, 18, 20, 21, 45, 72, 101, 110, 132, 144:1-11 are called the Royal Psalms because of their prophetic descriptions of Jesus the Messiah (Christ) – his life, death, resurrection, and the future reign.
Most of these Royal Psalms were written by David. He was a shepherd, soldier, poet, king, and also a prophet.
David knew that God would fulfill his promise to bring the Messiah into the world through his bloodline.
