Consulting the Dead

The Witch of Endor 1 Samuel 28:3-19 King Saul needs information, Samuel is dead, and God has stopped talking to Saul because of his disobedience and rebellion against God. Instead of repenting and turning to God, Saul decides to seek answers from the dead, with the help of a witch or fortuneteller, that God has strictly forbidden. In the Midst of Darkness Isaiah 8:19-22 Isaiah warns against seeking guidance from witches and fortunetellers, urging people instead to consult God's instructions and teachings.
