Spiders in the Bible
The Bible uses spiders in the Bible to symbolize important truths like wisdom, spiritual attacks, and spying.
As for the spider web, this symbolizes being trap, or shown patience.
Isaiah 59:5 They hatch the eggs of vipers
and spin a spider’s web.
Whoever eats their eggs will die,
and when one is broken, an adder is hatched.
And in Job 8:14 What they trust in is fragile;
what they rely on is a spider’s web.
The Hebrew word for Spider is ‘akkabish’ meaning a swift weaver
