The Prophet Samuel

In Hebrew, Samuel means ‘Heard by God’ Samuel was called to be a judge, priest, prophet, counselor, and the man God wanted to use to help Israel move from a loosely controlled tribal nation to a monarchy. Samuel became great in Israel, because he was always listening to God’s directions.
