David and Goliath

The Battle with David and Goliath was one of the most remarkable battles in the entire Bible. God prepared David for this exact battle when David was a lowly shepherd. When a lion attacked the lambs, David killed the lion with sling shot. When a bear came after the sheep, David fought the bear the same way. God had been preparing David to face Goliath all his life, right up until the day of the battle. The story of this epic battle can be found in 1 Samuel 17.
